CoNote

Google Ads integration

Log campaign starts, pauses, and budget changes as Campaign notes, so a shift in traffic or conversions lines up with the ad change behind it.

A budget bump or a paused campaign moves your numbers within hours — but it never shows up next to the analytics. This integration puts those ad-side changes on your timeline as Campaign notes, beside the deploys and config changes from the same day.

What lands on your timeline

For the account you connect, CoNote records a Campaign note when a campaign is created, paused, enabled, or removed, and when a budget changes. It reads Google Ads' own change history, so it captures who-changed-what without anything to install.

How it works

This is a polling integration. Every 15 minutes CoNote reads the account's change history and records anything new — connect it once and never touch it again. The connection is read-only.

Google Ads keeps only about 30 days of change history, so connect the account before you need the record — changes older than a month can't be backfilled.

Setting it up

  1. Add the integration

    In Integrations, choose Google Ads.

  2. Authorize with Google

Click authorize and sign in with the Google account that has access to your Google Ads account. CoNote stores only an encrypted refresh token — never your password.

  3. Select your account

Choose the Ads account to track from the dropdown. Connect the account directly (not a manager account) so changes are read from the right place.

Pair Google Ads with your analytics changes on the timeline: when conversions move, you can see the campaign or budget change from that day right next to the deploy or tracking change.
